Required Skills and Experience
Enrollment in a university degree programme in translation, linguistics or communications-related field.
Candidate must either be:
enrolled in graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent or higher).
enrolled in the final academic year of a university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent)
A university degree (as defined in (1) and (2) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one year of graduation.
Any relevant work experience in interpretation, localization, translation and publishing would be an advantage.
Native fluency in Spanish;
fluency in written and spoken English is required;
knowledge of another language is an asset.
Please be aware that internships with UNDP are not paid!
All the expenses connected with the internship will be borne by the intern.
UNDP only accepts interns for a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 6 months.
