Own the internationalisation and localisation vision and strategy for Skyscanner: assess key priorities across various products, regions, and capabilities and drive the company’s internationalisation roadmap.
Establish metrics which connect localisation impact to company performance and manage these to deliver business success through strategic localisation.
Be the voice of Localisation across the business, work closely with senior leadership to increase the profile of localisation and achieve company-wide commitment to best practice.
Collaborate with various stakeholders (Product, Design, Engineering, Content, Marketing) to put localisation at the forefront of product development.
Provide leadership and mentorship for our team of localisation managers and project managers.
Extensive experience in Internationalisation & Localisation, combined with a solid background in leading localisation and internationalisation teams and driving strategy at scale.
Strong technical understanding or knowledge of internationalisation and localisation software development.
Experience in centralising localisation efforts and setting up localisation frameworks for various content types and product needs.
Direct experience in delivering products using iterative or Agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM)
Experience working across multiple teams and multiple regions.
