 Pilar earned her degree in American Anthropology and English Philology. She has since accumulated more than 20 years of experience in the world of publishing and translation. She has worked as an editor and a writer of non-fiction for SM and Susaeta, and since 1990 she has been a freelance translator. Her working languages are English and French. In recent years, she has specialised in all stages of software localisation, from translation and functional testing to copyediting, although she tries to combine this work with that of translating non-fiction books. She collaborates regularly with Lionbridge, Glotas, Microsoft, Síntesis, SM, Susaeta, McGraw-Hill, Siglo XXI, Tikal, and Anaya, among other companies. |
