 Marta completed her degree in English, Russian, Spanish and Catalan Translation and Interpretation at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She specialised in Computer Assisted Translation tools, earning a Master’s in Tradumatics at the same university. During her studies she spent one year at the University of Birmingham and also studied at the Pushkin Institute in Moscow. A former student of Cálamo&Cran, after completing an internship in the technical translation department of a translation agency, she decided to establish herself as a freelance translator. Currently, she combines this activity with that of leading workshops on the computer-assisted translation programme SDL Trados. |
