 After earning her degree in English Philology at the University of Barcelona, Dolors furthered her studies through a postgraduate course in Tradumatics (Autonomous University of Barcelona), a Master’s in Scientific-Technical Translation (Pompeu Fabra University) and a number of additional courses in copyediting, biotechnology and medicine, all of which allowed her to specialise in what had always been her passion: translating and copyediting medical and scientific texts. After working at a translation agency as a project manager and at a CRO as a medical translator, Dolors became a freelance translator. Currently, she works with a variety of clients, including CROs, pharmaceutical companies, medical and scientific publishers and medical translation agencies. |
