 After earning her degree in German and English Philology at the University of Cagliari (Italy), Ileana has furthered her training by taking professional translation courses both in Italy and in Spain (she is a former student of Cálamo&Cran). Since 2005, she has lived in Madrid. Currently, she is specialising in Romanian literature at the University of Padua and in Romanian literary translation in Bucharest. In addition to her work as a freelance translator of Spanish, Romanian, English, German and Italian, she collaborates with the publishing house Impedimenta as an assistant editor and head of relations with Romania and Italy (scouting and public relations). |
